Amazing deal. Things you have to think about though, support and spairs availability after 1 year warranty has expired. I always go branded myself (compaq tosh etc)

Hell of a price though! Aldi does it again! That well known fruit/veg and pc retailer.

Good luck anyway

Gericom??? wait till you need a part for it after the warranty finishes.

have you not seen that hp laptop from pc world at £699? 2.8 p4. ect.

just going with my experience of repairing Clone laptops (non branded) and trying to get spares. fooking nightmare.

Agreed best go branded m8.

Reading the description, the wireless lan appears to support B and G, which is 11Mb and 54Mb. Both are quicker than your broadband connection (I assume) so you should be fine.

thats how it works

u replace the modem, so that plugs straight into phone line.

u can then ( if u want) plug your pc into that, or use a wireless card in your pc.

then use the wireless in you laptop to surf for porn anywhere in the house.

you do NOT need the pc on to browse using your laptop
