Can anyone help please? I need to know what the green wire with a yellow trace is on the fuel tank multi plug? We're guessing its for the fuel low indicator on the dash??

Reason we need to know is me bro is using a different fuel pump setup with standard tank, so needed to modify the wiring and loose the multiplug.

P.s. it's yellow with green trace & the pin that sits on top of the sender is simple an earth ? ? ?

Why you using a different fuel pump setup? Typical

 

LOL got a seperate swirl pot, lifter pump & uprated 040 fuel pump in the boot !

But usin the standard tank & the fella i got this shell off cut the pump/tank wires just in the boot, so worked out where 6 of the 7 wires go (fuel pump live & earth, fuel sender earth, fuel gauge, rear lights feed) - just this last one off the top of the tank ! Nightmare !

Rich if you get a chance pop under the back of yours & have a look for me sweetheart ? ? ?
