Default Need to find legal info with regard to headlamps

Having a discussion with a lass who has tinted her headlamps. I know the legal lamp wattage is 55/60 but can't find the info.

Still a mystery to me why anybody would want to tint something as important as headlmaps but nevermind

Construction and use regs require that front headlamps only emit white or yellow light.

Yes I know HID look blue, but they still only emit white light.

Ref Uk Statutory Instrument:
for Dip beam: Schedule 4 Part 1 para 7: http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si1989/Uks...en_9.htm#nsch4

For Main beam: schedule 5 part 1 para 7:
http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si1989/Uks...1796_en_10.htm
