Borat movie
After al the bad publicity its been getting about it being racist and offencive, i just wonderd if anyone else had seen it and what there views were on it.
My view of the film was that the jokes about the gays, jews and blacks were not intended as racist or derocatory but to show how stupid and racist the americans really are.
What i mean is borat goes to the rodeo and start saying infort of thousands of people about killing all the iraqi men women and children and how they will leave iraq so that not even a lizard could live there. Then all the americans re cheering at that.
Now in my eyes its the yanks cheering thats wrong not borat for showing the yanks for the tits they are
O and its funny as fuck to

Actually that got me all steamed up.
Can't imagine watching it again though as it was just a feature length regurgutation of all his previous jokes
He is jewish so I very much doubt he was intending to cause offence

We watched is last weekend, hilarious! In a way its a shame the trailer featured a lot of the funny bits so you already knew/expected some parts (like the feminists etc) the church scene has me watching in disbelief at the same time as finding it funny, it was shocking! No disrespect against religion but ffs they looked insane!
Everyones obsessed with political correctness - yeah the jokes were racists and insulting to just about every walk of life (women, religion, homosexuals etc) but hello its just a joke, not serious attack/incitment of racisism etc

I've seen it twice now

the fat guy is so fat, they didn't bother to obscure his schlong, but i'm sure they did an extra length of borats
and, later on in the film, the line "my face still smells of your testes" or something, had us all in stiches again
