i think you have to turn no the select option 1st, then you can highlight text to copy/paste it.

look under the menus

Jim i dont want to cip and past the text just highlight it on screen then save it. So i can easily pick it out for future. Someone has done it on this one document but i cant find out how

adobe reader is exactly that... a reader...you have limited functionality with that product. the person who orignally done it probably had a better package.

Actually just found out they used acrobat professional. Hmmm i need this prog!

you need adobe 6 standard or above really.
