its just a standard 2ltr engine.
its not a cheap driveshaft its a commonly used set up for the conversion.
the nova gte driveshaft with cavalier inner cvs for the gearbox.
well at least thats what i think it is, but i bought it second hand so cant be sure

What shafts are on it then? If your running an F20 box then Id get some proper F20 shafts and get on to ChrisAstleyMotorsport.co.uk for some proper hubs that will take the bigger shaft. I have heard of people running Astra/Cav/Calibra shafts off the 2.0 8v engine, as long as the outer cvs have (I think) 22 splines.

Standard gte`s or gsi`s have 22 spline shafts as standard!!!
Thats why if you do a XE conversion,do it to a GTE or GSI as you have all the parts ther eyou need!!! Loom, shafts, fuel pump, tank etc etc...makes it aLL alot easier!!!! Then you just have to get inner cav CV`s,and your anti roll bar spacers...
Pete...

start with gte or gsi. apparently slightly stronger than the rest of the novas.
i bought mine 2nd had but im sure the guy said it was nova gte shafts with the cav inner cvs.
which many people say is the best way to do it and they are actually stronger than the custom ones from places like courtney.
