270mph British Supercar Announced

270mph British supercar announced by Adrian Hearn
British car manufacturer Bristol has released details of its 1,000bhp supercar.
The Fighter T is powered by a twin turbocharged and intercooled 8-litre V10 engine, which produces 1012bhp and 1036 lb/ft of pulling power.
Bristol claims the T can sprint from 0-60mph in less than 3.5 seconds, accelerating all the way to a Bugatti Veyron beating 270mph. However, it will be electronically limited to 225mph.
Its six-speed gearbox enables the supercar to hit 60mph in first.
The Fighter T follows the 525bhp Fighter and 628bhp Fighter S.
Buyers will be lucky to get their hands on one though. Bristol will only be making a total of 20 Fighters, Fighter S’s and Fighter T’s a year.
The Bristol Fighter T will be available from September 2007 at a cost of £351,000.
