Sony Ericsson peeps
I just ordered a W810i to replace my K750i. However, they sent me a W850i instead.
Apart from the greater music playing ability (which I doubt I will use), is the 850 worth keeping over the 810? Or is the 810 have better basic features?

I think the 850 is better than the 810.
Im pretty sure the walkman feature has been improved in the 850, the 810 has annoying bug in the way it orders its tracks.

The w810 and w850 are basically the same except the 850 is a slider phone and the 810 isnt. The 850 is newer so does have some extra features like its capable of 3g and probably a few other things.
If you dont want a walkman version i would have got a k800i as the camera is the best sony ericcson do at the moment

Mike, Nev has the W850 and my mate Leigh has it (in white 
)imo, although similar in size when shut, looks and feels a tank in comparison to the W810. The 'orbit' theme is nicer along with the Walkman menu but other than that theres no real advantages. Theres a few niggles with it too, like if you're texting and someone calls you, you loose the text, where-as on the W810 it saves in Drafts, not that I ring him on every available occasion when he's texting or anything. Also, when you shut the slide after a call, it doesn't hang up, unlike any Samsung slide phone. IMO go for the W810, but then I could be biased!

Dave, W810i has the same chassis (if thats what you call it) as the W800i so wouldn't be a problem. Is pretty much the same as the W800i but just looks better and a few features are better, ie camera is faster etc.
