Right where on earth do i begin. I really got this phobia about age and stuff. I feel 18 still, i like clubbing still albeit not that often. Last year i was 30 and had a great party and stuff and despite my thoughts i was ok.

Now im sat here thinking oh fook, im 32 next year. i dont like it. It scares me. Im actually dead dead serious about this, as like me lad the eldest is 9 next year.

I can imagine him in like 9 /10 years time saying im too old to go clubbing. Im terified he will like, We do loads together and stuff and id be well gutted if he did say that.

Some of you know i like a laugh and drink and joke and im the first to make a show of meself when drunk lol, but is it me or what?

I dont actually stop thinking about it now . Anyone else feel the same or what?

not scared of getting old, but i do not feel like im 28. Its gone too quick since i was 18... I sometimes 'feel' older after work especially in winter, but as a rule i still fell in my head about 21

Imagine how i feel,i was a young dad so grew up with my kids and thought i`d be cool forever.....

I`m now 39(40 in April)"H" is 18,Shorty is nearly 17 AND i`m a Grandad....

And to make it worse,Shorty don`t think i`m cool anymore... He thinks i`m too OLD...

Don`t worry about it mate,it`s just a temporary thing you will soon forget all about it and continue to grow old disgracefully....

I'm 34, still go out with the lads into town drinking and clubbing. Dont feel old at all but the odd 17 year old looks and thinks i look old

Dont give a rats ass, at my age you can do whatever you want, you have money in your pocket and i dont take any shite from people (like you do when your 17)

Trance/dance and Smirnoff ice go so well together.

It does help though that I have an "interest" in a night club though

i don't worry about it tbh, I'm 31 and have never thought am I too old, should I be out in the pub/club etc at all hours getting pissed, should I be more responsible cos I'm a dad etc etc. Screw it, it's only life, enjoy every minute like its your last

I hit my 35th year this august and i think shit where has the time gone, i can remember my early 20's like it was yesterday and time does fly especially once you get to 25,

bottom line you can't stop the clock and you have to accept getting older gracefully, as above live life to the fullest, go for your dreams and live each day as if it was ya last,

as for me i still act like i'm in my 20's, look after myself, pump in the gym and play football although the knocks and sprains take a little longer to heal up

Don't worry about it mate, I'm only 20 and my dad is 47.

Ok so he doesn't come to the pub with me but he is like one of the lads. He still messes around with cars etc with us occasionally has a blast on the playstation etc. He's cool and i wouldn't want him to be any different

So i'm sure if you have a similar relationship with your lad (like you say) then i'm pretty sure it'll be fine

I did have short period of feeling old and worring about my age, but someone who was in my life for a short time recently made me relise that its just figures and they mean nothing at the end of the day. People will always judge you on the fact..... "your to old for this or that, shouldn't you be settled down by now? Kids? Etc....."

Fuck all that, it'll happen when it happens and when it does i'll adjust my life as neccessary, but for now i'm as happy as a izzy bizzy bumble bee

My Dad is 46 and im 24 and we get along great and do as much together as we can.

We both love going Off Roading in his Landrover and getting it really shitted up, then we both take it to bits and clean it afterwards.

I'm 27 and feel the same as you and it's been getting me down. The only thing that's cheered me up lately is that last weekend i got asked for ID when trying to buy a couple of bottles of Stella in the local Co-Op last week. Well my Dad was 61 this year I was 26 and my sister was 20 but then again I do have 2 older brothers too one 32 and the other 28.

Age is just a number it all depends on how much fun you have.
