Have it on my work and home PCs, apart from flicking the firewall off I haven't had any problems with it.

I have a dedicated box running FreeBSD and IPFilter. Don't need no shoddy windows firewall.

yeah its the increased security and anti virus thing i had read about, had read it didnt like being turned off and didnt like to be run with other stuff.

is it worth installing after market av and firewall if windows has it? i guess so as most people will now target this to write work arounds?

anyway it aint been rebuilt for knocking a year now so will install and see how it goes

Chop I read somewhere on a Microsoft site that they are overlooking this now. When SN comes back up, will look it up for you.

I am not installing SP2 on my PC, have read far too many negatives about it.

MATT use Sophos AV and Sygate Firewall and a few other things, will give 'em to you in MSN. I did a test on my PC via the Gibson site and my PC is in full stealth mode and fully protected.
