Does anyone know if youcan get them without the internl wastgate, and what sort of power they are rated to.

I'll be using it on a 20vt vw motor aiming for 350bhp ish. Or f there is any othe turbo people could recomend

If you e-mail my mate on sales@intelligenttuning.com he should be able to tell you as running a Gt28Rs on his project and knows a fair bit on the VAG motors.

28rs is ideal for 350hp,more and you might want to look at the 2871r....flows around 380-400 ish. Both internal gated though.
You could get a 3071r with maybe a .86 housing........maybe flows a tad more than you require but it'll take ext. gate.

350bhp with the right setup on a 1.8t engine will work good, yes the Gt28RS will work.

Cheers or the replys gents i might go for the next turbo up from the gt28.

I'm going to look into rods pistons and head work cams etc and might see what it wil take to get my mega light charot to 400bhp.

Depends thgh cause i recon 400bhp might get a hell of a lot more costly than 350bhp

I'd rather have a ball off he'd be sabotaging my engine spec so it wont be faster than his.

I think i might get me some rods and pistons and go the whole hog for 400bh or at least a garunteed 350bhp.

I know fine well that i'll get used to the power and want 400bhp so i might just go the full hog might be cheaper in the long run

Na realy i might start pricing up for 400bhp i think cause 300bhp just isnt enough in a 750kg car

JE pistons, steel rods, lighten Crane, G60 lighten flywheel, VR6 uprated clutch. AGU big port head. Should I go on....

For big power you need a big port head.....
