Default Mtx75 box fits into mk4 escort but is the st170 compatable?
we currently have a mtx75 box in our track car and was going to put a st170 box in. any ideas if it fits and what mods need to be done?

the 6 speed box will onto any zetec block.

Im trying to sell my box and gear change cables / gear lever mechanism

the box fits on but the problem is with the clearance on the thrust bearing as the ST170 uses the deep dual mass flywheel.

ok cant you use a normal zetec flywheel or is it different as in dont fit?
