Default Suggest me a car stereo for £250

The fcuking Kenwood unit I got went wrong. That's two in three months so I demanded my money back. I know have £250.oo and a hole in my dash where a CD player should be.

Thinking Alpine what are people's thoughts/suggestions?

Not intrested in I-Pod so no worries there and not worried about the onboard amp as the whole system is run from external amplifiers

I have a sony in mine, it's about 2 years old and is 4x50w or something, is sounds rubbish, you can play around with bass and the rest of it but whatever you do it always sound hollow and tinny. my old ford 2008 was much better.

don't know what to get next.

CheeRS Stu mate but I'm really not a fan of the the JVC kit.

I've had Kenwoods since my first car and have never had so much as a sniff of trouble up until now. I still have my old PS1077R (in piano black) in my A4. Thinking about it I still have a really old KRC-356L in the garage somewhere

It's deffo going to be the ALpine just need to find somewhere to get it.

If you like your music especially MP3s then Id go with a Sony Mex-1GP

You can download your songs straight onto the face-off part of the stereo via a simple USB cable , has the capacity for 500 songs ! Love mine and its so easy to use , just click and drag from your music file and voila

Show me a fookin multichanger that could hold that many CDs then
