its been shipped so it should be here in the next few days

can you get them chipped? anyone got a chipped one?

not usually a fan of having them chipped but 360 games are well expensive!

 

Don't think there is a chip yet, you have to flash the firmware on the DVD drive.

 

i know someone who has chipped his 360 and plays online with it
fuck knows where he got it from though

Well I love mine yet I hardly bloody play the thing lol. Too busy on the net on an evening and I prefer it on my PC monitor as it plays in HD. The TV sucks!

Not been big into my games really for a few years now, just certain titles, but the 360 is reigniting my passion. I fancy the new Smackdown as well as the new Splinter Cell and also Need for Speed Carbon.

 

mine has been flashed, works fine splinter cell is awesome, just waiting for nfs carbon, its the nuts on xbox so cant wait to see what its like on 360

 

so whats the score with this flashing thingy? does that allow you to play copied games?

 

only 15 days for gears of war - supposed to be the first game to really test the 360 and also a good match for halo 3

and only 8 days for call of duty 3

Pffttt, pc's are better and when a better console comes out all you have to do is spend a few quid on a better graphics card and it will beat the new consoles what would you console owners do? throw it away or sell it for next to nothing and buy a new console all over agian? im sorry i wont be buying another console ever agian, the ps2 was my last

Yeah heard its flashware and not chipping the 360.

 

pc's are better but are about twice the price

 

a friend of my sons have got is chiped and the guy who chiped it sells
games for£12.00 each

 

Im talking about people who already have decent pc's

 

yeah mate it does,£10 a game is much better than £40-£50

 

you flash the cd drives firmware, ans im sure its only the samsung model drive that allows this

You can get the games for nothing if you've got half a brain!

But nah I will pay for my games as I want a fair whack of gear worth something to sell when the time comes.

 

I can get them done £60 with 3 games. Any game, I live in Birmingham.

Agree with what GTI is saying regards PC's but it’s a nightmare with compatibility issues left right and centre. Last two PC games a bought new wouldn’t work and I had to download cracks to play them

Ranj you fat coont, you can flash any drive and not just the samsungs. My mate flashed mine and I can go online and play copied games no problem.

Now hook me up with all the games for a tenner as I only have PGR3 and MotoGP.

 

You can still go on Live, the games can be downloaded from the net, discs cost £1.50.
