I'm doing this as well, since I'm stopping the shmoking on Monday. Can't do one or the other, as soon as I sniff a lager I'm chainsmoking and legless inside 3 hours

CAGE Test
1. Have you ever felt you should cut down on your drinking?
2. Have people annoyed you by criticizing your drinking?
3. Have you ever felt bad or guilty about your drinking?
4. Have you ever had a drink first thing in the morning to steady nerves or get rid of a hangover?
post your answers up!!!

fully aware of what the test indicates mate, just joking.
In truth i think binge drinking is now a way of life. people no longer drink in the week due to work issues( and probably rightly so). thus lending to a "big" blow out at weekends.

its all about quantities in truth, they now reckon dring "x" amount of units in one session is worse than spreading it out through the week. most people dont tend to get hammered until the wekend. but there are always exceptions to this rule!!

I did it about three weeks ago now, started eating healther too and I've lost about 1st 2lb. (Though I did have one BBQ + Session in there, cos my aim wasn't giving up the booze it was to be healthier)
Suprised how much difference the beer makes.

I regularly give up alchohol for long periods of time (3 weeks etc) as a detox period.
I've gone all healthy do this from time to time.
Having said that, I'm off out tonight to get battered
