Default cos engine into standard saff

what parts would i need to fit a cosworth 4x4 engine into a standard sierra? its only a short term idea so i can run in the new engine, while the escos is having the body work sorted.is there any model its easier to fit it in?

its easier to buy a complete 2wd saph as 4x4's are hard to convert.

No point, running in takes 100 miles or so. Just warm it up, then drive it hard but smoothly making sure the engine doesn't labour and you use most of the rev range.

Rather than all that hassle and expense, just pay to have it run in on a dyno

if its 4wd then your best of buying a 2.9xr

that way you dont have to change the rear diffs as there the same
you dont have to modify the tunnel unless your using the skyline box
and the front chassis legs dont have to be modded

other than that if you use the std box then everything will drop straight in no messing

the loom is easy aswell as it will mainly plug up bar a couple of wires

obviously tank and fuel pump change maybe duno what the 2.9 internal pump will flow

really easy conversion though if you have a 4wd shell unless you dont mind making the mods to the std 2wd shell

eveything will just bolt in as it should

to fit cosy brakes you need to use the hubs front and rear aswell

As chip says it'd be cheaper just to have it run in on a dyno.... also you know its been run in properly as well...
