jake go and find on www.snapfiles.com and in to the freeware section and search for " windows clean up",it does ALL you need to do but be care full how you configure it go in to options and check these box's:

delete news groups subscriptions
delete help index gid files
delete prefetch files
scan local files for temp files
clean up all users

and make sure you are on custom clean up

oh make sure you dont fully erase files

You also need to clean out the file called index.dat

You'll need a special program to do this, but it is pretty straightforward

Just type 'index.dat' (without the quotes, obviously) into google and that should come up with some ways to do it.
