The brake pedal on my cossie ? 3 door .

Drive it after starting everything seems ok , thn if i press pedal it goes hard It does stop me put really need to munch down on it

Heard of a few things which it could be , but anyone no for sure ??? abs pump ?

Any help appreciated

 

prob worth checking the fuse behind the bottom of the dash mate as mine went and did exactly the same pedal is rock solid i can't remember if it is the passenger side or the drivers side though sorry man.

Cheers mate , but would this mean its okk at first then suddenly hard for the rest of journey ?

Really am not clued up with the braking side of things

yeah mine went whilst giving it some beans one day for some reason it was ok at first then solid after 5-10 mins it took a couple of days before me and a pal chased it back to that fuse changed it and has been perfect since..

worth a check just in case really.

Saying that when it did go solid it was an absolute cunt to try and stop an absofuckinglute cunt!!!!!!!

Too right , my right legs out of proportion to my other leg now

And i pulled a hamstring too

 

Have a shifty where the passengers feet go as i think it was around there somewhere by some relays?? honestly can't bloody remember it was so long ago

i think it's the panic you have when you go to brake and there is fuck all there that frightened me the most

 

This happened to me a day after gettin my Sapph back from a full re spray

The roundabout slowed me down though

ABS valve block on the inner wing known to cause this problem, hard pedal doesnt always bite at the same point either
