Well, the last place we wen't to was Rodeo to see EZ, before that it was last year NYE again to see Z @ Bar:ME. - Previously we'd been to Empire as they used to do a bit, but not so much anymore. Shame the Sidewinder event's are not on really anymore

 

I used to go to events in Milton Keynes. Sidewinder??

You didn't go to Sidewinder did you? Most of those were dubious to say the least.

What differs UKGarage from any other previous form of underground music, is that too often, some people who went didn't even like the music - not in the same passionate way that you'd find at a dnb event.

If I can work out how to get tapes on to the computer, I have about 10 hours of me on pirate, a couple of mix sessions, and one live event....

 

I saw Kieran Dyer at one Sidewinder. He was having a piss next to me... it wasn't very big

Rich, Renton used to be really in with the organisers so we were always safely backstage most of the time! some very unsavoury characters

I remember the Sidewinder days, used to bring Bletchley to a standstill and always at least 1 shooting per event, Mum didnt like me going much

No more tho, they pulled The Sanctuary down a few years back now, in its place........... IKEA oh and of course the MK Dons New Football Stadium

Where's Rodeo? Not been out properly in MK for a few years, prefered N'hampton, so much has changed

 

This is the next event @ Rodeo MK...this weekend in fact..



Looking at the line up i'd say that's going to be pretty dark! - Ross & Greg will lay down some good stuff, but that's more of a grime event...not really proper ukg imo!

Cheers Adam. Think I have an idea where that is, not near the Snodome, Theatre District or Leisure Plaza tho, looks like its by the Winter Gardens complex, in the same row as Lloyds No1 (Secklow 100) & the new Jurys Inn place.
Will have a look tomorrow as im gonna be popping into CMK, sounds like it is a good place

 

Yea, it's a pretty small venue, but as the name its open in the day as a bar n grill and they clear the place at night for the club
