not yet but with it running in the workshop the fuel pumps are louder than the exhaust it's as quiet as a std car on the factory system but that could all change as soon as it's on boost though!

The Daddy Thrash will be held there, so will try to run first on the day,they can Black flag the car at 210 if they like but it aint stopping thats for sure.
Ive spoken to the guy at Brunters & he assured me that last run I was ok, but who knows.
The Final 100% effort on the Topspeed record wont be at Brunters anyway.

Are you being serious - not sure.
My Final Topspeed run was never going to be at Brunters, its getting dangerous stopping from circa 215mph & no safety zone. Its been arranged to run elsewhere for some time. I fully realise it wont count as a record, but according to some my present record dont count either. Heres what I think

The thing is Rod, you always harp on about "the bullshit stops at brunters" everytime someone posts up dyno figures of their new 500/600/700bhp YB.

So it is a little funny that your last run wont be at brunters, it opens the door for all sorts of comments you have to admit lol! And yes I know its for perfectly good reason and I'm sure it will be 100% legit timing etc etc........ but it is rather funny.

I am currently DJing at a club in Blackpool, doing the student nights and there is an old boy who lives in the house next door and the silver top always complains to the council to try and get the club shut down.

I was about to say....

The chap who owns Brunters is going to have problems. He is a bit of a plane buff and has quite a collection. According to his sons he regularly squirts one of his GE lightnings up and down the runway.

Can't see that being under 97 dB!

Brunters is just a Runway its getting the TALKERS to prove the mainly bullshit claims thats talked on this Forum. I ALWAYS put my car where my mouth is & it runs to Spec cos I dont talk shite. You guys may not like it or me but the 183mph my old 500bhp engine ran is still a big barrier, because it actually had those Horses, I will leave it to you to decide why these huge claimed Horsepower cars fail to reach 180, well I know, but it aint popular rather like me.
Their will be no more Topspeed runs at Brunters cos they are effectively banned by a 87db noise limit. Some of us have known this for a while because we know the guy that runs Brunters. I personally have helped 2 Ford Magazines to arrange another venue for future runs because again I knew the correct people, because of my contact with Ian Bayliss from 5th gear. All this is now comming out & im sure the new venue & date for the Daddy Thrash will be announced soon.
Brunters is dead, long live the new venue cos its where the Bullshit will stop in the future. But I suggest, as now, many will Talk ,but very few will go & prove their claimed Horses.

They had the microphones out when I was up there with FastFord. We didn't realise the guys pootling round in a Rover 75 were from the council they didn't look impressed at being passed constantly by Ford Escorts travelling at 150mph.

One of the guys from Brunters came down and spoke to us about what was going on. It'll kill the airfield off and I wonder how long it will take for houses to be built on it We lost Alconbury and it looks like North Weild will be going the same way and Brunters is looking very threatened.

Like these cunts round Castle Coombe that buy a house knowing full well a race circuit is nearby and then complaining about the noise. FFS this culture sucks, Do something daft and then blame and sue every other cunt for our own stupidity
