Escort you could probably do for about 1K
Fiesta i'd guess a tad more as they seem to sell for a tad more,

Escos dunno 10K
Sierra Cos about 3-4K

All a totaly guess, but bare in mind you will need harnesses etc etc.

????? dont understand

Take a look at Pete (warleydaddy) for example.

He was given a bog standard partially stripped Mk1 Fiesta XR2 from Adam Ash, - no cage, no big brakes, no nothing.

He's done about 4 track days in it now, and had a bloody good time I bet,

Why are you looking at it costing anything ???

XR2's make great track cars.

Just strip out the interior and start from there.

I'm with Tim on this one.

There's no other car that can go backwards through the gravel trap better than a 1.9GTi

Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9, bucket seats, good car, could be as a rally car or field car, power boost valve, very fast offers around. £400.

Aint a clue Tim, just had a quick browse on the trader.

I'd love to buy one just to toast about but the missus will spank my hand with furious anger if she sees me dipping into the cossie fund

Might just do it anyways, tow bar and trailer for the 3i

You dont have to remove everything, but it lightens the car and gives less chance of anything belting you in the back of the head in an "off" moment.

Plus it aids that authentic rally sound.............. LOUD AS FUCK INSIDE

Default Track cars

I think this depends on whether you will need it as a road car to get to the circuit with or if you can put it on a trailer ! If it has to go on the road it always jacks the price up as you will need mot , tax etc. Plus a different set of wheels ,brake pads +fluid etc.. The world is awash with ex one make challenge cars , Fiestas , Clios, stockhatch 205's etc that change hands for just a few grand already race/track prepped , if you try to build one up it costs double the puchase price of an already done car . If your current roadcar is a Sierra it may be better to pick up a caged Sapphire as , if youre anything like me , youve probably got enough spare bits to make a complete car for peanuts ! Rolling shells are available from £500 upwards , you can even stick a tuned pinto in it to save money and still embarass faster cars .

Not very often this happens - but here goes !!!!!!!!

FREE - YES THATS RIGHT FREE TO GOOD HOME

THE GIMP

If you serious about a cheap track car then have mine

It is a 2.8i XR4x4

The colour is Red with a Yellow Starsky and Hutch stripe !!!!

It requires a new fuel metering head (the bit near the air filter and has the injetor pipes bolted to it)

I have completed apprx 12 track days in it over 2 years and it is the best fun you can have fully clothed.

If you or anyone else wants it then call me 07973 402465

Get it collected this Saturday !!

Well what do you think ?

Tonys right my XR is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!

Ok its not a patch on my cossie, but fun factor is supurb!!!

Look at some of these cars that are built for the track! Ok there ALOT faster than me,but if it goes pete tong, there quids down!! ive got fuck all to loose,so it gives me an incentive to push it just that little bit more!

Car now owes me £500!!

And its the best £500 ive EVER SPENT on a car!!!

Pete!!!
