if i buy a sky hd box, can i just get ksy to up the subs to get the hd stuff?

or do i need to buy the stuff from sky in order to get the channels?

there seem to be loads of boxes on ebay for much less than sky want, obviously there is ono garantee that they will work but is it worth forking out the extra £300 for the hd?

also, how mcu am i looking at paying per month to get the hd stuff? it sounds like it'll be £60, which is a bit much for someone who's only going to watch the telly for 4 hours max a day
