Been thinking about brakes for the S1.... Not sure what discs to go for yet (either keeping std 15" rims and use 283mm 2WD Cossie discs or get a set of 16" rims and use 300mm ST170 discs) but have been looking into Wilwood midi-lite 4 pot calipers....
Thing is I would need a set of brackets machining to space the caliper out to accomodate discs....
Or should I jsut go down the S2 caliper route again? Wasn't massively impressed with them on me 3i (2WD discs and S2 caliper set up) but don't really want to go the Escort Cossie route and have to machine the hub face or carrier down as I think that makes the mounting moint too thin.....
Opinions please?

Steve - that was on the S1 that
boy has now? (
)
Am thinking tho that I want to keep std rims (much as I fancy a set of EsCos rims on the S1) so 300mm disc won't fit, so 2WD 283mm disc it will have to be.... so what calipers? S2 with brackets or 2WD/4WD cossie calipers?
Have been told that using the S2 caliper actually gives a better pedal fell and even 5% more braking power than using a Cossie caliper - and also told you need to machine 4mm of the hanger/hub to get the Cossie caliper to fit - can't remember which Cossie caliper this is for tho (2WD/4WD Saff 4-pot or EsCos)
