It does not always work the way you think... I know some of the guys at Prodrive and during wind tunnel testing they tested an Imprezza with and without the front number plate fitted, they were thinking that without the r plate fitted more air would pass through the radiator. Guess what? The opposite was the case!!! Interesting eh?

off topic i know, but.

That's quite funny and reminds me of a journey to brunters in an old Mitsubishi van i once owned.. There is a bridge near there which i went over too fast, a bunch of keys on the dash bounced off and fell on the floor... straight through a hole that i meant to fix

If anyone is running a small front plate, remember to keep a legal one in the boot in case you get a pull......

Because of the new mot laws if you get issued with a vehicle defect form by the plod you have to go through a full mot...

is it legal to have a tiny 15cm ruler size numberplate on front and fullsize in window? or just one in the window?

yes mate it is legal, the only way of keeping a cut down front plate legal is by keeping the letters the correct sizing and spacing, but trimming the edges down showing an 11mm piece of reflective backing around the outside edge. Ok if you only have 2 digits etc on the plate but not much difference on a 3 digit one.

BTW I make small numberplates, £15 each including delivery to your door. You give me the dimensions you want and ill resize the letters to suit (or vice versa).
