Daft Cossie price comparison, but interesting...
Just been having a chat with a work mate (not Black & Decker) who bought a new Sierra in 1986, cost him just over £6k.
Now what was a Cossie in 1986? £20k IIRC. So that was an extra £14k for a posh engine and big fuck off wing.
Put that in todays money, a mid-spec Mondeo is what? £15k ish? So by todays standards a Cossie would cost £45-50k!!
Told you it was daft....

The cossie has depreciated less since though.
Cossie is worth what now for an 86 rs500? 15K? and was under 20K new.
Normal sierra mark 1 is worth what? 100 quid? and was 6K new
so the cossie cost 3 times more new, but it worth 150 times more now, bargain
