I'd lay odds on the Gtir being a 1bar one like about 90% of them. Go against one with 375bhp
I had the opposite a couple of months back. An Escort Cossie was tailgating me in a 40, then went past as I was doing 39 As soon as we got into the 60 I got behind him and waited til he floored it. I went past him so easy it was embarrassing. I'm only running 1bar

Fastest I ran was a 12.2 @ 112 - car running 1bar ish dropping off - zorst and bleed valve. Rear seats and crap out and small wheels really seemed to work. Ran lots of 12.5s but 12.2 was the utter best on a dodgy clutch which seemed to launch just utter perfect Supposidly the car had a fueling mod also done so it wasnt as rich as a standard 1 bar job - never melted so never complained
Good little machine till i did some forestry work in it

Was that on a standard turbo? I'd like to know what weight your car was, as if it was full weight (ie 1240kg before you removed the interior) that's a hell of a time.

It's 4mph faster than I did with at 0.9bar (260ish) and lightweight.
Looks like I'm going to have to wait until next season now to find what I can do with 1bar and about another 50kg off.

well to go against the grain mine was shite!
loved the looks, handled well but boring to drive(pretty much stayed on the road itself),and was quick off the line but..
my escort turbo wasted it on a motorway due to the fact they are built for getting outta corners quick so i felt it was slow and fucking expensive when it went wrong.500quid for a 2nd hand dizzy! oh and the box shat itself so did the pedal box and it a sod to have to take the engine out to do a clutch
i respect em but wouldnt go back again.id rather buy a rusty lancia intergrowler

Brand new dizzy is about £400+ from Nissan . A £10 bracket helps the clutch pedal box stay in one piece. Clutch can be done with the engine in, but it's generally easier to take it out.

Not getting into the old "go against the same car with the same power" crap....
BTW remember it was him who wanted to sit on my backside and try his luck And when I slowed down he came along side me and baited me again... TWICE ... I had to oblige
Anyway, what does it matter what my 0-60 and 1/4 times are??? we weren't doing any standing drag races
How do you know the ECos you wasted was the same power as you?? might have been a small turbo running 270 brake???

uncorrect mate,
a std escos is 5.7 to 60, but a pulser has been proven to do 5.2's in more than 3 test's i've read.
also a std pulser will do mid 13's @ 96-98mph, a escos will do 14's of the top of my head.

Your 0-60 and 1/4 times would simply give me an idea of what power a Gtir would need to keep up. According to the site I've just checked, 375bhp and 1305kg should do 11.88 1/4m. A normal Gtir would need about 350bhp to match it and there aren't many genuine 350bhp+ Gtirs out there. (I'm hoping to do that next year with well under 300bhp and about 1050kg)
I don't know what the Cossie that tried it on with me was running. I hope for his sake it was 100% standard as it was slow. If it was 270 on the T25? , he should have faster spool up than my T28 and at least have kept up. (I'm only running 1bar and 275ish bhp.)

The main Nissan Pulsar GTI-R moved off the creation line 30 years back. It was made as a component of the homologation procedure of Nissan's hustling group NME (Nissan Motorsport Europe) entering the Gathering A World Convention Titles. Unfortunately, triumph was not in its fate.
The vehicles that entered revitalizing help were really the European Sunnys, so frame code EGNN14, delivered somewhere in the range of 1990 and 1994.
The 5000 homologation vehicles sold true to form however, before the 1991 season even got in progress, strain among jdm car and NME was at that point high, combined with a long testing program. Nissan never truly let NME assume full responsibility for the circumstance which can just ever bring about disappointment.
In any case, actually the issues lay with the vehicle. The greatest being mounting the intercooler, or 'interwarmer' as it got known, on head of the motor. In fact, in that position it is ensured against harm; additionally different vehicles of the day, for example, the Toyota Celica, had effectively done likewise. The Bright was a littler vehicle, therefore not as much wind current could be accomplished around the motor. It is accounted for that during the most sizzling convention arranges up to 50bhp could be lost.
