she lives again!!!
Well my cosworth experience up to press.......
Covered 200 miles.....block cracked
I thought it was head gasket so i replaced with cometic @£100
50 miles later same prob...obviously!
Removed head to find a wee crack in the bore
located a block, had it skimmed, rebored, cleaned etc.Crank has also been polished with new shells, new piston rings fitted all new ford gaskets arp bolts etc.
i started building engine last night at 10 pm stayed there till 2 am then back this morning fitted it timed it up and she fired nearly straight away and soon pulled herself onto 4 pots and sounding very sweet indeed
So 5 or 600 miles carefull running in then i reckon its a trip up to blackpool for a quick "tune up"
Just glad this nightmare is nearly over so i can enjoy some porche hunting

My bruv in laws TVR Cerbera lasted 4 days after he bought it
Snapped the crank, which totalled the bottom end
Its away now having a 5 grand engine rebuild
So its not just Cosworths m8

He payed 15 grand for it,then that happens after 4 days
Only 32k miles on clock too, with full history, apparently a weak point on the crank is a common fault on the early 4.2 Cerberas,so hes having it re-built to a 4.5

Will be a fast car
Wasn't overly impressed with it myself, but then again my car is 406 bhp and 428 lb ft of torque through 2 wheels
He was chasing me when the crank let go...........
Reckons he was gaining on me,but I have my doubts after having a drive in it

Very light cars, pretty sure the Griffith is a rover v8,if so the Cerbera is alot more powerfull, the Cerbera engine is a AJP V8,proper race designed engine built by TVR
