Default Why is it......

that the majority of high-revving engines have low torque compared to their BHP output...i.e motorbike engines, honda high-revving engines and so on...

Due to crank stroke

Basically in lament terms

Long stroke = lots of torque
short stroke = lots of revs

All above with the right internals of course.
