Default Workshop question

Was thinking about knocking up a smallish workshop at my house say 15ft x 25ft and was wondering if i used this a welding/metal workshop if i planned to set up a business would there be like noise restrictions during the daytimes because i would be in a residential area obviously id be doing a fair bit of cutting and grinding etc. I know there is restrictions on some industrial estates near to residential after say 6pm or something just wondered as i aint got a clue but im guessing it could be a no go area

do you know you aint allowed to work on your own car on a residential property

my friend nearly lost his planning permission on his garage, as he told the buy he wanted to restore a car in it?

i mean,, what the fuck is all that about,, i told him to turn it into a gay/imogration centre and the planning would fly through
