Default RS2K AUX Belt Change

How difficult is it to change one of these as I'm helping someone do it tomorrow if the belt turns up.

It's a L reg MK5A BTW.

should be straight forward enough? make a note/drawing of how the built is fitted before you remove it though.

Yep got a cutaway pic of the engine and noted everything on a bit of paper so i'll take that when i do it.

I'll report back how I got on.

Well my mate changed the belt and seemed to be ok.

Turns out the alternators buggered so had to take it off tonight

Came of no worries all this shite I've heard of moving the engine is rubbish.

Take the front bumper off 4 bolts and 4 screws move the PAS tank remove the small and big pipe coming out the bottom of the radiator and it's a piece of piss to get out.

Gotta fit the new one tomorrow night so I'll see how I get on then.
