loss of power help needed please.
my dad has a rover 418 td its lost power and is flat as shit
on start up from cold there is no smoke and it starts first time without fail
starting from hot no smoke and starts fine every time
if you floor it hard it just pics up and yet again no smoke from it
ive done all the intercooler pipes and checked the intercooler for
any damage but its still the same
if it was a problem with the injectors wouldnt it smoke ???????
what if the turbo has gone what effect would that give would it smoke
if i take the intercooler pipe of and rev it you can hera the turbo working
but is it working tidy i ask myself...........
when i went up a hill in third gear it started to judder like the revs
wasnt high enough and me being in the wrong gear but in the past
its gone up the same hill no problem.......
