...went tonight, got back about an hour ago and sorry to say, but it was shite. Some nice cars, but damn, I really didn't like the atmostphere. Not only that for a place big on the car scene you couldn't park for shit.

Did bump into my old manager and his 150db MR2 and got to watch them lurvy strippers. But a friend of mine was so concerned that his mx-5 would get broken into we left early.

What does anyone else think of that place?

TBH I don't think of it as a "car" place more of a "rocker" place to me

Is usally a good night tho when the bikers go up there, usually very entertaining, deffo far more than cars (which jsut sit still whilst the bikers show off a lot )

i live about 10 mins from there. what nite was it tonight? it s ok when the weather is good you do get a big turn out. the last classic ford nite was a wash out but the mk2's enjoyed it

I have to agree with Mac. I live about ten minutes from it and generally get dragged down there to the max power nights and the ford nights. Ford nights are ok. Max nights are shit. Same old cars (which is nice if you like saxo's and golfs). Its more a traffic jam then a show/cruise.

Max power night. Max power shite . Who needs BHP and lbs/ft when you can stick bodykit and stickers on your little french thing and instantly have the quickest car in the world. Max power has a lot to answer for.

Still pop down southend every now and again, but not for the cars anymore - only go now if any mates fancy it as a bit of a laff when theres fook all else to do
