I fooking hate confrontation/rowing

Had a fuck off row today at the tyre fitters 'cos one of the wheels was damaged, geezar was offering me out and everything! we eventually calmed down and said sorry etc but its well upset me all day

How does everyone else deal with it

 

If you are in the right..make your point...then forget about it...

If you're in the right and they aren't listening..shout until they either listen..or are deaf...

Don't let it get to you..if you sorted it out nothing to be upset about, was a two way bitch after all

 

Did they offer to pay for the damage then???

i handle confrontation badly. got an extremely short temper and hit out first if i think its gonna kick off. or if i get wound up and i cant hit out i get the worst migranes and oa bit mad. seem to be calming down a little bit though as i'm gettin a bit older.

 

i would have knocked the prick round his garage then made him give me money for the refurb

See the thing is the guy is adamant he didn't damage it, and to be honest I watched him and he was really really careful and its given me doubts as to whether he did it and I can't see how he did it (its a chip on the front) but at the same time I don't know how I did it but the fact remains its was damaged

Luckily they are the dealer for Pristine that I used to get the wheels refurbed last week. The manager is going to speak to them on monday and arrange the repair..

Its just the argument that upset me, i'm just as much to blame as I got heated with the guy aswell.. i'm just a bit ashamed of the whole thing.. there worst things to worry about then fucking wheels

 

my trick is to be REALLLLY calm, and use big words in sentences,..

makes the aggresor feel very stupid, and irrational

Keeping calm and talking your way into making them look stupid makes them even angrier but works a treat

I have got a really short temper, but I keep myself calmish but playing fooball 3 times a week as I find this releases alot of pent up agrression and so it now takes a fair amount to send me OTT.

 

my heart starts going like fuck.....then me head go's red....then i can't speak properly......just headbut them.....ahh and relax....or go home and have a wank

I have my own section at work and the guys who i look after are never wrong,regardless,so i find that in the first instance you need evidence to back you up,word of mouth is no good as people tend not to believe you.

Then, when the time is right, i take the said person/s to one side,even if that means walking down the car park out of the way,so i as i dont show them up in front of the other guys.

In a calm,straight to the point manor we talk it out,never raising my voice,then,when it's talked to death and sorted and the guy has been "educated" rather than bollocked,i usually say"consider yourself bollocked,its done,thats the end of it".

This way you get respect and hopefully some lessons learnt.

My mate has had this before, now he gets them to inspect the wheel first to confirm no damage before the tyre is fitted.

 

Must admit Paul i'd have lost it with him, no point fucking about, if people offer you outside then smack them then and there!

and that makes you go in a temper with them

 

Aint that the truth. Took mine in for a gearbox at a local garage years back and the new box whined it's tits off on collection so I turned round and took it straight back. Car was away for 5 weeks Get it back and they'd been through the boot, broken the bonnet pin and smashed the alternator. "It was like that when it came in!" I got. Was it fuck as like and the cheeky fookers expected me to pay for the second box as I broke it Didn't even travel 100yds with it

 

i punch walls, doors, windows, when people piss me off, when a guy starts playing his mouth i usually warn them they never listen tho

 

I used to start clouting people when i got angry,
Now if i get near that stage i go and hit something that wont hit me back,
Or if i am in a good mood at the time i try to wind the other person up by putting them down.

I have already been bollocked off my new gaffer, because some of the lads are trying to wind me up i take it as water off a ducks back and slip in comments that wind them up as i aint biting
