I have been offered a couple of deals on my car
1 is a very good spec rs turbo loads of stuff done and some propper power coming from it.

the other deal is a very mint (well looks it anyhow) white saph cossie 4x4 on a G plate, few minor mods and 83k on the clock, but no rebuilds etc and at best is only stg1

The rst will be the faster of the 2 but thats all Im saying atm.

Both cars are offered as straight swaps so there will be no cash involved.

I want both cars equally but for different reasons, I have had 3 rst's in the past (one of which was a 1.9 running approx 220bhp) and I have had 5 cossie's in total and the current 1 is the quickest at approx 350bhp.

What would you lot do ???

i dont like S2 RSTs or stdish 4x4 saphs, id want some cash and do my own thing with that

you forgot to say the RST has had over 20k spent on it in the last 2 1/2 years

Go for the RST keep it for a while if you get board you be able to swop it back for a cosy no probs

thats the thing, i knew which RST we on about, and its had craaazy money spent, so some bummer would prob buy it back off you in the future for shitloads anyhow.

i still dont like RSTs mind, lol

mmmm im not sure ya would get 6 grand for a erst, ya wouldmhave to wait for a bit

how long has jon erst been selling his for , i know hes sold it now but did take some time

i dont know the car ya talking about but unless its butchs old erst i would have to seriously doubt what ya would get for it

think about it i sold my engine ect in my cabrio as i dont think id be happy with it and also what would i get for it if i was to sell it

id get 2 grand and a bit with a turbo engine based on the condition and the half leather recaros but with a engine that i got a lot of stuff alot cheaper than it would of cost me i still wouldnt get the money i payed for it back

i prob get 4 grand for it but no more and mine was a half decent spec when it was gona be finished ( and that was gonna cost me 1500+ still for odd and sods ontop of the 4 grand plus ive payed for engine stuff , total parts cost with no labour as such for fitting would be 9 grand+ less the brakes, suspention wheels ect, just the engine and box

hence why i gave up, oh and i dont think a erst would be in the same league as a decent setup stage 3/4 cossie for fun

to be honest mate ive got a high spec rst, and a stage 3 cossie, and the cossie wins hands down. id get the shaff and keep your stage 3 bits .

actually id just keep your one as your be hard pushed 2 find another minter like that
