£1k? £2k?

The car is just what I'm after in every other way and they are getting pretty rare now especially with this spec!

John, i was quoted by a mate of a mate £150 for the labour to do it

his words "its proberly the easiest external fixed panel to fit, as theres no viasble fixings etc"

this was on a corsa, where the roof rails cover up the spot welds so dont know how diffrent it would be for a pug (205 with a sunroof ? )

Aint gonna be that sort of money m8 but pugs aint worth money atall to begin with.If your getting the car for a GOOD bit less than what its worth then go for it.Should cost between £600/800 ide imagine to get a good job done less for a lesser job done.

Good luck

Just spoke to a good body shop who painted my RST last year...they want £500 + parts which I though was resonable.

Probably gonna go for it if I can get the car at the right price

If I can get £500 off the purchase price then I'll go for it...

Its a 106 Rallye with a 16v conversion, Caged / big brakes / Bilsteins etc...etc...

205BHP/tonne should be nice

I'll post pics iff I buy it

Had a look at my Bro's Rallye today and they are relatively easy to replace [not like on a Mk4 Escort for instance]. Just drill out the spot welds and weld in the new one. The welds are concealed from the outside with a rubber trim over the roof

Don't forget to add in the price of getting a new headlining as well. Could be an expensive dealer part only if it's a unique colour.
