Exhaust Manifolds *still no joy
Offered my 4x4 exhaust manifold upto the head, the manifold is catching on the studs and wont pass over, the only thing i can think is bent exhaust studs but they look fine, is there any other reason.
Some holes look nearly 2mm out

I had this on an exhaust manifold on a 21 turbo once - somehow the manifold had mishapen & the actual ports had moved closer together - only by a couple of mm but enough for it not to line up - I wouldnt recommend using it tho mate as the ports wont line up so they may offer some restriction which I doubt you'd want!!!

Found any good exhaust studs for it ?
All the ones I have found are only threaded about 6mm yet the head is taped to a depth of approx 15

Jase....try measuring the gaps inbetween each port - I bet at least one is at least 1/2mm out - mine was that much out you could see where they had closed up - my guess is it has been :-
Run either without a damper or with a broken one so theres been stress on it
or without enough exhaust studs...
or both!!!
