last night i nailed together the bottom end of my ZT, now in the hains it says you can dismantle the oil pump and check it for wear etc

which i have done and it all looks fine etc so i degreased it too

now, upon reassembly, it says to prime with oil but as the engine aint gonna get started for time yet, is it best to pack it with the engine build grease (GRAPHOGEN MOLY COMPOUND) from burton power before i put it back together?

why are you reusing the old pump???
surely for peace of mind on a high spec engine you should use a new pump?

actually its cos its done about 10k miles max and i know the history of it

ie it was brand new on a mates engine when we rebuilt it and then the cunt put it on its roof

and it looks minty mint inside too
