Ide leave it for atleast a week due to it not getting done in a booth then u will find it wont start to roll up on the paper and cause you grief.

Use 3G compound to polish up but ideally ure gonna need a buff machine to do this.To be honest for all the cost ude be better takin it to a bodyshop to polish it up for you

12" is a good distance, So long as the guns set up right

Leave it a few days, As said.. It needs to cure

Only reason cars get baked is to cure them quicker,So it wont be affected in anyway by doing it where ever you have

In sense yeah i see what your saying but no not really.Due to ways different people spray some close some far you need to adjust flow rate of the gun and speed of your actions to compensate. So if you hold it close you go faster with a lower flow rate and if you hold it far away then more flow slower speed basically.

The best way to a good finish is the prep work.Bad prep bad finish

i only got a little compressor too, so i was holding it 12" away it wouldnt coat it very well.

plus i only guess at seting the gun as there were no instructions with it (brand new too) and i aint got a clue lol

dont worry, i wont be putting anyone out of a job lol
