Best ferodo ds2500 online retailer
Can any1 recommend a good stockist for the ds2500 pad?
I cant find anywhere which can give me a price for a set. mondeo st220 calipers 2005.
Also are these better than mintex m1144 pads? Been using these for 8-9 months now and have done 3 track days with them and have proved very effective, unfortunatley though they now squeel all the time and i have found the material is cracking off the backing plate. i understand m1155 pads would of been a better compound but due to mainly road driving i feel they wont be practicle.
thanks in advance.

NUT RS
will try that tomo... although the discs are grooved, so this should be done with each roation.. maybe
also thinking that it could be the shims which are knackered as you can clearly see where the piston has shredded the original shim.
is there a replacement shim or even a material i could use to fabricate my own shim?

its a rubber stick on backing supplied with the pad.
unfortunatley tho the piston has pushed and torn through this, and is now sat directly on the pad back... ive tried copper greasing it which temp reduced the squeel.

well today i found that ferodo dont do the pad
back to mintex it is.
anyhow decided to check out the existing pads. stripped them down, sanded of the "shiney" face, swapped the pads round so the shim is on the piston side and gave the other contact points a light copper greasing.
after a 10 min drive there was no squeeking... just hope it remains that way! although in all fairness after i visit the ring again in november they will need replacing anyway.
