I have a chipped PS2 (and about 65 games) no the problem is the PS2 will not play copied DVD games, i have tried all types of DVD, but it wont play them, it also wont play a few other copied CDR games, but plays most of my copied games, it plays originals and DVD films fine, I have done the old adjustment thing with the laser, and i dont think the diode is on the way out, does anyone have any ideas please why it will not play some CDr's and DVD copied games?

turn it the ps2 upside down,..

worked for mine for about a year until it finally gave in

if its on its side lay it flat , when on its side the spinning disc vibrations can knock laser out and what speed you burning at, dont burn at more than x2 for ps2

always have it flat, and burned at 4x, will try 2X

x4 ok for xbox etc but no good for the shitty laser in ps2, good luck

not sure,....just seemed to do the trick,...

have it the right way round when inserting game and as soon as it takes it turn the fucker on its head,....

serious,....games that and dvds that wouldnt work, would work fine upside down,....bizzare but true..
