Defo write off, whatevr you do, DO NOT give the insurance company the log book, else you could possibly loose the Reg plate... Get down the local tax office tommorrow, fill out a retention form and pays yer money aswell as hand over your V5...

I was just about to post about the private plate, as I've read of quite a few people losing their reg plate once the car is written off and/or something about not being able to use it again for 12 months if they managed to keep it. Can't remember exact facts.

Glad no-one was hurt Tiff but shame about the car.....

Shite glad everyone is ok, thats the main thing

how much can you buy the car back for tiff?? Might well be worth buying it back to break, the interior and wheels alone must be worth a couple of grand, let alone the engine/ box etc
