Drivers side full beam not working - but the bulb is fine?!

Drivers side full beam not working - but the bulb is fine?!
Got a problem with my lights.
On the mk3.5's (and mk3's im guessing) i believe the dipped beam and full/main beam bulbs are the same. For some reason my dipped beam works but my full beam doesn't? This is only on the drivers side - i've changed bulbs but no joy.
Any suggestions?

Gotta be wiring then?Maybe a bad contact or broken wire in the loom.Thats what I would go for.Try a continuity test between the high beam wire on the good side and the plug on the side that isnt working?
