Very sad news.
Dunno if anyone here is off the Focus or Focus RS forums but if you are you may know of a chap called Brinko. Sadly he died in an RTA last week, here is a post made very bravely by his wife:
If you did know him perhaps you may want to post a message here.
Chris was a bloody nice bloke, he will be very deeply missed.
I have no idea why I'm posting here I just know my husband used this forum a lot, I'm just trying to stop others going through the same. I'm brinko's wife of 2 months, and yesterday I had to go to hospital to identify his body. He crashed his focus RS on a country road in northants, near where we live. It looks like he swerved to miss something, but we won't really ever know. He was the best driver I know, with part of his advanced license and 8 years experience.
Please no matter how well you know the roads, remember you don't know whats around the corner.
Becky B.

only married 2 months, thas well harsh
exactly why i never understand people making a big deal about how well cars handle on B roads, almost all have no visibility around the corner, so you might know it, you might know you can go round at mental speed, but you dont know who or whats round the corner!

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
What a total nightmare, and what a brave post. Best wishes go out to Becky B and family. I live in Northampton and saw a barely recognisable Focus RS on a recovery truck, that brings it all home really.

Jesus Christ that's absolutely terrible
This kind of loss is never easy to handle. My deepest sympathies go out to all of his relatives and friends.
