Default Cosworth cam question........

Are 4x4 and 2wd cams the same? I would think not, but how do you tell them apart? inlet/outlet.

Also if i was going to change the cambelt on my saph, would i put the verniers back to 0 then change it?

no 4x4 and 2wd have different cams, but they have the same profile

i cant remember how too tell 4x4 and 2wd cams appart

to tell which is inlet and which is the exhaust cam,, the inlet cam has a grov around its bearing surfaces

as for the vernier question,,,, no you dont put them back too 0,,, make your own timing marks (so place a bit of tipex on the cam wheels when the engine is at tdc and the phase sensor is in the correct postion, like when your doing a non vernier car as it says in the hand book)
you really need to recheck the cam timing once done to make sure full lift is where it is ment to be
