anyone else having agro with it? its not been signing me on for at least 2 weeks now, getting proper annoying!! i keep doing the troubleshoot thing and theres no problems, but it still wont work...

Try this.... go to

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programmes > Scroll down to MSN > highlight > click on change > then click on Repair.

That might sort it for you

 

Assuming you're using a Hotmail email-address for it, try signing into Hotmail......I never use it, so tried to log in to find out my account had been disabled from not logging into Hotmail for too long.

Logged in, logged out, MSN signed straight in...

 

just tried the control panel > repair thing and that didnt work, and i go into hotmail regularly anywayto get emails so its not that, was in there about 15mins ago.

Ive heard a lot of people saying on the new MSN Live their old addresses stop working, and they all seemed to have the same solution to the problem.

Which was to open a new hotmail account. Theres no logic behind it though

You should be safe with 7.5

 

mines fine at my house, but when I go to the olds it stops working and says my key ports has a prob bur never able to repair them, as soon as i come home its fine, but yet my mums msn works fine

 

MSN tells filthy lies anyway, i have my laptop running aswell as my pc, and there been times i try to log in and get "the service is temporarily unavailable".................which is always interesting when the laptops msn is logged in and functioning

 

Messenger seems to be running fine, although im using Live not 7.5. Buty I am having problems with Live Spaces today, trying to update my blog but the page wont fully load

Have you tried logging into MSN from a different computer? Might help you work out if its your pc or your account that has the problem.

 

For starters download windows live messenger(the newest msn), never had 1 single problem with signing in for months on end
