The one in the picture has been oiled up to keep it supple. Its made from a very hard, tough plastic, however, after 20+ years most of them have gone dry and brittle between the ridges. Which means every time you have to take it off you gotta be soooo careful not to split it

Hey look at that, I still got a close up pic of my old one! I remember going through a stage where my coils were causing a misfire with so much pressure it used to blows the seals on this pipe at both ends, was a proper ball ache at the time

they couldnt 'carry it across' cause the 3i never existed when the 16i was being designed, it was Ford SVE in england that engineered the crap linkage for the rhd conversion.

love those cars but fookin hell,you could buy somethin far superior and a lot newer for the cash,hand over the cash ,park it in the garage,trailer it to the show,look at me i'm so cool'aye right then bud,why buy a drivers car to sit in your garage,theres no way any rs 1600i is worth more than 1k,what they got thats so special,apart from great seats lol,come on now tell me why you would pay 7k for an xr3i with nice seats
