Default Bloody Oil Leaks!

It would be easier to provide a list of places that thing DOESN'T leak from

I've got one on the inlet side of the engine which has me stumped - it runs down the side of the sump and the starter motor is covered too.

The highest point I can see it is the oil pressure switch (which is on a tee-piece due to the defi sensor).

I don't THINK it's the head gasket (whilst it is dirty, the block isn't particularly oily)

The threads on the pressure switch are clean, so unless it's leaking from the body, it aint that.

It could be the sump I guess, but I took that off and resealed it in 2003 (Sure hope it isn't the sump as it was a NIGHTMARE to do in-situ )

Does anybody else have any suggestions?

Yeah I can see those pretty clearly and they're clean, so it isn't coming from there

Highly frustrating!!

Cheers

I know the feeling I had a similar leak turned out it was the rocker cover gasket. I aslo had a leak on the rear crank seal which I've fixed now its leaking round the sump and another that I can't bloody find it seems to be running down the pipe from the water pump. Oh and the sump plugs sprung a leak as well.

They my only be minor leaks but they are annoying.
