how much do 18 year olds know about cars?
have got my rs500 for sale both on here and ebay-
this afternoon got an email from an 18 year old who advised me i was asking way too much for a 19 year old sierra and that there are loads of them about for sale and you have to change the engines every 20k miles.
he advised me to buy a saab 9000 turbo as his dad had a 300 bhp one which was miles faster than most cars including an m3 csl.and would probabl;y have beaten my rs500.
he also told me of a 900 bhp saab that he knows of and a 600bhp one with 900lb ft forque.
anyone else know about these amazing saabs?

Follow this link to see some really smart cars http://www.maptun.com/cars_list.php?...ebbbe27de850a6 oh and by the way the car is only worth what someone will pay for it. We sold our Aero for 4k which was what we paid for it even though some specialists would say it was worth 10k = the insurance company would only give you the book price for it in an accident.
Never heard of the show you’re talking about.
There’s an Aero on this site with 700Nm torque and does quarter mile in 13 seconds. Also 80 – 120 mph in 4.9 secs!
If you look at this you might end up buying one and have spare cash. Bear in mind these all come with Climate control, electric seats, electric windows all round twin computers ABS etc etc as standard. And most will still do 35mpg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry mate but after all it’s still a Ford! Can’t believe anyone would want to pay that sort of money when for less than half that you can have a 20 year old Saab 9000 tuned by Maptune or Abbott Racing that would literally wipe the board not only in a straight line but round any corners you wish. Also if something accidentally hits you, you don’t have to throw it away because it’s bent. We had a tuned 9000 Aero with 300 bhp and nothing at all could catch that from 40 mph upwards. A friends M3 CSL was just a speck in the mirror after a moment or 2. We know someone who has a Cosworth and far preferred our Saab for real power and far superior handling.

Yeah but the RS500 has 500bhp from the factory don't you know. Tell him to fuck off and do his homework, play with his Saxo and leave the cars to the adults

and this is the first one
hmm i think personally 13250 is to much for this car think about it it is a 19 year old ford and it's not like it's that rare i mean everyone buys cossies now adays and then puts in a new engine so i reckon it would be worth the price you want if it was completely standard. i'm only 18 but love cosworths not the sierra though un fortunaely love the escort. could you send me an e-mail of the full spec though thank you. hope you get what you're asking for

May be wrong, but iirc arent the saabs all FWD, with that type of power muc like any other high powerd FWD car, let alone a barge like a 9000 there not going to be great handling wise

Q: woah i only asked for a spec sheet.. i think it's fair to say you have more knowledge of rs whatevers but clearly not in cars in general. i mean lets think a saab 9000 aero tuned by maptun to 600bhp will cost you under 10 grand and i'm sorry but that will out accelerate an rs500 . since you know so much you'll understand that it isn't horsepower that really matters above 400 it's tourque and with nearly 950nm it will rip apart an rs500. also save ur self the worry of reliability and go for a jap car then it will put all the power down and won't need a n engine rebuild every 20,000 miles. and i'll bet being a single turbo there is masses of turbo lag. i'll bet it rev's nicely to about 4000 then just the wheels spin and it hits the limiter same as all the rs turbo's small engine big turbo = too much power to put on the road and masses of turbo lag. and everyone knows rs turbo's are famous for ending up in ditchs as they don't have the handling to match the straight line speed. thankyou.

oh no just had this one too
his mum must have woken him up for a bottle and nappy change
Abbott racing’s touring car beat skyline’s, evo’s, scooby’s, supra’s and even yes you guessed it ford sierra cosworths. Tis in the u.k I’m sure you can find it if you know where to look not a ford festival. To be honest it’s a pretty low spec one aswell and would still give any standard cossie a good run bearing in mind it would be a comfortable trip too with a family and a dog or two. Maybe you should contact maptun and ask them seeing as ur an expert talk to real experts. Xx
