donnington lap times who was the quickest

Dan,
Basically there pit garage was broken into last night and they tried to start the cars to drive them out, much the same as they did with the 3-door.
They couldn't get them started but tried long enough that it melted some electrics and also broke part of the X-trac sequential lever.
With some help from Steve @ A1 - Thank you dude Stian got the car running and wanted to drive it down the road to see if anything else had been tampered with before going round the track, when he got to the paddock exit, he was refused to leave because there was no front and only a rear number plate on the car, unsuprisingly they had all had enough by this point (as I personally would have too) and decided enough was enough.
Totally gutted for all the Norwegian guys and angry about the few that have spoilt all the hard work, exspense, time and of course not to mention the invasion into their property involved, to put on a spectacular display for the many.
(Both cars did get out on the Saturday but only managed a few laps before clocking 111db and being told no more for the day, anyone that was there will say what a spectacle they were I am sure.)

I totally agree with the fact that some mindless idiots can spoil things for the many as you say Dave, I would have loved to have seen them in action, thats why I made the 450 mile round trip to Donny to see them today!
Still, thanks must go to you guys at PF for arranging them to come over and us at least get a chance to see them in the flesh!
I'll have to get an RS for next year so I can seem them, if they want to come back.........

Just for info I timed Steve at 1.18 late today too, yesterday the Norwegian cars did get out before the incidents as most have covered occurred, I was told he managed a 1.12 by two seperate readers who I spoke too today, who were there on the Saturday. Quote PF Dave
1.12 In just a few laps well look out formula one drivers as there there must have been two at National day

Who's was the Reyland stickered Rover Metro? lol that was flying ! Was really impressed with the track action. Good day out for me, shame to hear about all the problems with security and break in's. Improvements for next year I hope?
