How much power ?
lads, how much should this escort cos be making with these mods ? im gonna buy it tmrw
Jondel Race Engines built blue top stage 3 engine
Garret T4 hybrid turbo with 360 degree thrust bearing & cut back blades (adjustable boost) ???
Coopers ringed block
uprated gearbox (bearings & selectors)
P8 ECU with Collins piggyback board & Evolution Stage 3 chip (mapped by Kenny at Motorsport Developments, Blackpool)
3 Bar map sensor
Group A fuel pump
Bosch 803 green injectors
GGR blue silicone hoses (air & water)
K&N 57i cone air filter
much appreciated and will be joining up here in the next couple days

Nice spec!
I would say 340 - 360 BHP................
With that T4 turbo, you could convert to Greys/750cc injectors, new chip/remap and see 440 BHP!!

thats great thank you lads, im not 100% that it is a T4 would anyone know how to tell without taking it off ?

Yep, as Doug said, should be around 340-360. I suspect it will actually be a T34 rather than a T4 myself, as it would be rather a waste to build a T4 engine on greens as you would have loads of lag & then not a great deal of power to make up for it. It just wouldnt make sense. I would think it should probably say T4 somewhere on the front housing, I've never looked that hard before TBH because if you're used to seeing cossies you can tell just because you know in your minds eye what a T3/T34/T4 looks like size wise in comparison to everything else in the engine bay.
BTW, Motorsport Developments are THE best mappers in the country IMO & alot of other peoples so it should be very good but if you're buying just the engine to fit in a car of your own then I would get it checked by them or someone you trust to make sure the boost/fueling is spot on before you give it any stick.

Thanks Ian, the engines in the car buddy its a group N shell, has a 12 point cage etc, right up my street, I want the closest thing I can get to a rally car but still everyday useable
